Biojet has planned to establish its first biofuel factory at Ringerike in Norway, close to the city Hønefoss. For all products, cooperation is established with trading partners in the fields of chemistry and fuels. Biojet has signed an agreement with Treklyngen for a long-term lease of suitable land – at the old factory area of Norske Skog. At this site there is a lot of available infrastructure and functionality that has been preserved after the closure of the paper mill. Agreements have also been made to supply the factory with feedstock.
